2 runs in and I slashed my rear tire. I'm wondering if they sell beadlock wheels that fit the kraton? I threw some on my son's slash but haven't found any that fit this thing yet?

I've read, in another forum, that beadlocks might not be the best idea for this type of truck. The reason being, they may slip inside the bead when using an aggressive tread. SCT and road tires are different, and demand a different type of traction. They don't "bite" the way off road tires do. Mounted and glued is what I remember to be your best bet.
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a bead lock?A lot of guys will still glue the beadlocks in place to keep that from happening.

Ok...seems like I'm gonna have to learn how to glue tires on YouTube then. So much to learn. I was also reading that people have blown up these tires and put better diff oil to tame the ramp up. Guess I need to order some of that too. Is the stock esc programmable?
You can by from Jennys direct. They offer a 5% discount code you can use on every order. The shipping is also a little cheaper on the site, and you can view all the rigs by make and model. https://jennysrc.com/ Coupon link: https://jennysrc.com/blogs/newsI have 2 sets of Axial 40 series beadlocks (1 set with Trenchers, 1 set with Mashers) and a set of Maximizer 3.2" beadlocks with HPI Savage Tires.
They are heavy and a giant pain in the butt. Love the way they look and I HATE gluing tires. The other issue is Proline has switched entirely to the "Traxxas style" bead, so they don't even work with the axial beadlocks anymore. Stick to buying pre-mounted Pro-lines/Duratrax setup or buying new Arrma take-offs from one of the ebay chop shops. I prefer Jenny's RC on Ebay.
Ha, how have I gone all these years not knowing that?? Thanks!!You can by from Jennys direct. They offer a 5% discount code you can use on every order. You can never have to many tires for a rc car....... Lol. They're like shoes to a woman, they need different shoes for different occasions so we need different tires for different occasions...... Lol. I like wetting down my old bald tires with bleach, mount them on my car, put in freshly charged batteries and smoke the ever loving crap out of them till they come apart. The bleach really does let them smoke like a real tire believe it or not.Just ordered (finally) a pair of backflips!! I have too many tires
