TLR typhon CVD drive shaft compatibility

Anyone have experience using Mugen MBX8R CVD on their TLR typhon for both front rear hub? I checked both exploded views all seems line up. Search everywhere in AF & www can't find anything. Appreciate the input.

The bone end looks a little bulbus. That or a skinny shaft is throwing proportions off.
The pins themselves are the correct size though.
May I ask why?

Mine starting to show signs of wear and would like to try something different if possible. Their 17mm hex pin is 3mm instead of 2.5mm so matching 17mm hexes are needed as well.

Was referring to the bone end pin, apologies. Not the hex side.
If you get them and they seem like a worthwhile item, please let us know! Or if the wheel axles are compatible with arrma. More options - more better.
The joint pin is still listed as 2.5mm. Why go 3mm on hex and bone, but not the joint? Not enough room inside the housing?

I was hoping if someone can share their experience if they have gone down this path. Joint pin uses the same size 2.5mm.

I don't understand the various versions - 8, 8r, 8r eco - but Jennys has some for ~20-26$ depending on the model.

8 is the scale. Gas & electric. The drive balls are probably 8mm like the Arrma & would bet they fit better in the cups. The Arrma ones are 0.305".

If the balls are the same, the shaft looks thinner I think. And being mugen, probably better steel. Thinner shaft means more articulation!
