Had first race with this chassis and I was impressed. Fastest in practice, TQ in qualifying, led the the Main and had a lap up on just about everyone. Broke a lower A-Arm on lap 14 and finished out last 6 laps to come back to third and still get a podium. Car has TLR 8X shocks, HW Xerun SCT/1900kv 46/17 gear setup. Mugen pillow balls, rc speed secret ceramic bearing through entire car.

What’s even better is when they guys running big name cars are getting pooped on and asking you on the driver stand what kind of car it is… 👀 lol The look on their faces when I tell them it’s just a “Typhon” is priceless. Granite I’ve been driving a long time but car setup does make the difference too. These cars are not super competitive out of the box as a roller.

Nice job! I’m sure driver skill and experience had more than a lot to do with it but nice to hear you could turn a Typhon into a podium finisher.
I’m not sure if anyone here ever raced the old Team Durango DEX8, this car is basically it all over again minus a few goodies from Team Durango. You can swap out many different parts with Mugen, TD, xRay.
