I was thinking of picking up a couple 3s CNHL batteries to run in my Vorteks with the option of using them in my Kraton. I've seen anywhere from 5000-9000 mah. While I doubt I can stack two 9000s in the Kraton, is there any DISadvantage to more mah? I do know that longer run time means potential overheating, but is that it? I'm thinking these:

As mentioned above weight is the big issue.
More weight means more strain on every component in the car. Harder landings, more breakages, and hotter motor temps/ESC temps.

If you are not doing big air jumps it may be ok, but you would still want to keep an eye on temps.

Some big air bashers run smaller LiPo(s) just for the lower weight.

mAh is a measure of capacity and ESC do not have a limit on that. It's milli Amp per hour. They only have an instantaneous current limit.

Drawback is weight, as mentioned before and no cool down phase between switching packs.
