  1. Talion
I just ran my Talion 6S EXB using a new G2 battery 100C 5000 mAh 6S and according to the telemetry built into the standard electronics, the speedometer using the bluetooth module stated I hit 63 MPH with the standard pinion gear. Has anybody else experienced this type of performance using the standard pinion and how accurate is the speedometer built into the system?

toss the speed pinion on and you’ll do at least 73
The top speed that you see on the box in never with the standard pinion because they don’t want people that don’t know how to put it on to use it because they probably shouldnt use it in that case

That’s Very good actually I’ve used them before and it’s pretty accurate with stock parts but when you start changing stuff the speed will be in accurate due To it going off of weight and tire dimensions etc but your case it’ll be pretty accurate until you buy mod parts

Heres 18t..an some estimates

Top speed with the standard 15t pinion is 52-53mph so the telemetry is off if it’s saying 60+

Don't forget, I am using a single 6S Cell batt with 100C rating. The numbers could be based on the regular 50C rating. That is the basis for asking the question in the first place.

Where can I access this calculator? This will come in handy.

The difference in C rating is minuscule when gearing and load is this low. You would need at least an 18t pinion to achieve 62mph with that battery. The telemetry is off.

But how accurate is the Telemetry built into the system, and is 63mph feasible with the standard pinion?
I wouldn't trust that. But may be close. Depends what tire rollout you have inputed and the amount of balloning the tires expand to at max throttle.
You need a GPS meter to truly measure actual speed. Telem not happening.
Any other way is a loose guestimate calculated by RPMS, Rollout, and final drive. Tire rollout will always vary unfortunately. Belted tires rollout may be more uniform at most speeds. But still not accurate enough.
Just me.

On SRC road crushers with a 19 tooth my talion does 101 km/h or 63 freedoms/patriot or hot dogs/AR15 or whatever you americans call it. I thought mine came with a 15T installed and the 'speed' pinion was a 23T.
It's really stupid fast with the 23T, I never had a truck this heavy before so it feels even faster.
I'm just joking also. You know us canadians have some pretty wierd units of measurement, like socialists/tax bracket and apologies/butter tart
