Decided to try out an idea for a chasis brace. Stopped by the local archery shop and grabbed a junk carbon arrow out of the trash. Had the guy cut it to size for me and then add two threaded inserts on either end. Had some hardware laying around to secure it. I couldnt figure out a good way to secure it on the back tower so its free floating and self centered instead. Definitely eliminates any flex. $1.50 in materials.

I figure the carbon fiber is designed for lateral pressure. Ive seen these arrows flying over 300 fps and hammer through plywood and bone without issues. Must be somewhat tough. I will let you know how it holds up to some bashing.

It has taken a beatining and is still holding strong. Went to the skatepark and it took a nose dive from around 10ft straight into the grass. Bent a few screws and pins but the brace held up. The shock tower actually tweaked around the brace a bit.
