Sombody buy this thing before make a stupid decision. I have more motors than cars, but good lord do I want a TP ticc boi 🥴
I feel ya...I have five motors and one car. But I already have this motor.

@RedondoBeachRC , I think this is actually the 5860 as it has the cooling fins. The dimensions are otherwise the same as the 5680.

You’re right. Let me change it.

Mostly the same specs too lol it seems to be basically the same motor

Yeah. The 56xx and 58xx lines are pretty much the same aside from the cooling fins on the can. The KV options are by and large the same. The last two digits are shifted on the two lines (the 5690 is the same as the 5870 for example).

I was thinking this too but the watts on the spec sheet are different between brands as well as the sorta big price difference that I definitely don't believe is just due to fins.

The 5680 and 5860 both have the same dimensions and power envelopes. 7200 continuous, 15000 max with a 50k RPM ceiling. I'm pretty sure they're the same motor. The 2mm difference in diameter is the 1mm heat sink fins.

The same goes for the 5690 and 5870. 9000 continuous, 15000 max, 40k RPM.

Ye I was comparing models with same last 2 digits. But apparently that is not the right way to compare them 😂.
