Hey guys, took a nasty crash off a new jump i built which is way too big! Anyway battery ejected and this happened... it’s sitting outside hasn’t puffed up or done anything unusual I think i just nicked the putter packaging idk though, what do you guys think? I think i’ll save my lipos for other stuff and burn up my nimh batteries in this jump !

Nice jump.

Can you carefully cut the outer skin away and inspect inside for further damage? I wouldn't trust anything punctured internally.
 
Have you plugged the balance lead into a charger or used a multimeter to check the voltage? Might be a quick way to tell you if one of the wires broke, or if one of the cells is way out of whack from the others, and it shouldn't damage anything just to check the voltage.
 
Like said above, if the voltage checks out for the cells, and it ain't puffing, I'd charge it up, and give it a run and see how it goes. In my experience, a bad battery will puff up, or swell. I have a few with dents, but they are still working fine. Just keep an eye on them, especially while charging.
 
yeah nothing was showing up on the charger, wrapped it with tape and sent it all good so far!
