Traxxas XRT 1/7 scale - Shock Quality

If you have one of these, how to the shocks compare to ARRMA quality? Also, does a 4mm screw pass through the pivot ball hole in the top and bottom of the shock?

I don't know about the last question but they seem about the same as my kraton 8s exb shocks. I will say though that I've broken a spring perch on one and I'm pretty sure I've not had that happen to an arrma rig. Either way I've never considered upgrading any of my shocks before. I know guys who bash harder than me have had some trouble with them though. Like aldoloyal for example, I remember him complaining about xrt shocks a bit and I think he replaced em with arrma shocks. For my type of bashing they're fine though.

Would have to look at mine but they bend with a hard hit, where arrmas are slightly stronger imo

Interesting input guys, and I appreciate it. Working on a SCX-6 crawler project and researching large-scale shocks. Unfortunately most are too long to use, and while 1/8th is ideal, I need a 4mm screw to pass through the pivot ball to mount. I may just have to stay with OEM SCX-6 shocks.

I beat the piss out of my X-Maxx and have never had a single with the shocks. They mount just like any other normal shock screw through top and bottom.

I've bent shafts on my Xmaxxes in the past, but that's a really heavy truck, doing things it shouldn't lol. As far as quality goes, I really like them.
