Feel sorry for the guys at Traxxas that have to perform the replacement...hazard pay better be worth it.

The kids in will be doing the work!

I've got a bunch of RCs. I can't see parting with any of them even tho a few haven't been ran in quite some time. My Senton 4s road crusher sits on my coffee table. My Kaiju buggy sits on the hutch.

I’ve been in/out of this hobby for over 35 years, never sold a single rc, LOL. I either still have, or stripped out for parts. I still have some bits n pieces of the gold pan RC10 kicking around, nothing worth anything tho. I typically use them till there’s nothing left, true human nature, at it’s worst! LOL.

BTW, neither my Rustler or Bandit have asbestos slipper pads anymore, I ate them! JK, I swapped them out for HR aluminum slipper pads a couple years ago. Which means I likely land filled the asbestos.. hope big brother doesn’t come down on me?

Damn what a monumental stuff up...cutting costs has back fired on them but I'm sure they won't even flinch at the cost, they have the capital I'm sure.

If it was another smaller company I'm sure it would ruin them.

So for the people who have to send them back, i wonder if they will all receive refunds or just replacement models?

I can see someone sending their car back that has been bashed within an inch of it's life.

Hell if it was me i would launch it off something...then send it back.

Would love to know the numbers on the returns.

I'd be afraid they wouldn't return mine.." We have determined that your rc toy car is unsafe for use and therefore cannot return it to you as per company policy, we advise you to purchase a new Traxxas model.".. LOL

But I think they won't bother shipping it that far... ocean freight costs too much.

They'll just hold 'em here..
and wait for the workers to come to them ,from across the southern border.

If they kept your machine, they would have to send a replacement. Besides that will never happen. They wont want the machine. Too much $ for that.

I'd send mine with a 10 year old lipo that looks like Jiffy Pop..

Kidding of course, I save those for party poppers.. when I have a couple friends over I throw them in the fire pit. Get's the party poppin!!
