  • Prob forgetting some things...
This is the first RC car that I've built from the ground up. I left a few things I left stock like the hinge pin holders and the shock towers. Not sure if that will be a problem or not. I just finished this build last night at midnight (just need to add some dry lube). Luckily, I have lights on it and was able to do a street shakedown to tune steering & to get some of the bugs out...

The only thing I couldn't really figure out is the diff fluid weights; (don't laugh) — I'm running 7k in the rear, 100k center, and 5k in the front... I posted another topic to ask how vehicle weight relates to diff oil weight (if, at all) but don't see any responses, yet! I'm not an expert like some of the guys in this forum.

Big thanks to RCDude81 and Rich Duperbash for the inspiration for this build. I've never actually bashed an RC like them, but I thought "hey, that looks fun"—and that's what inspired my build. East Tactics and Razor RC are awesome, too. Who are your favorite YouTubers? Who do you learn the most from? Who do you like to watch for entertainment?

Feel free to give advice... or to ask questions. Hoping this post sparks some great conversations.

That build is super beast. I've seen it in action and it's scary fast. 👍👍
