Senton Trouble with New Spektrum Motor & ESC in Arrma Senton: Pinion Gear Slipping and Car Moving Slowly – Need Advice!

new spektrum motor and esc in arrma senton pinion gear slips so motor revs and car won’t move-pinion gear adjusted up motor shaft, car moved but slow. is it most likely that the cause of both of these issues is because the pinion is a few teeth too small for the spur gear?

What does “a few teeth too small” mean

i have a 17 tooth currently , which comes with the stock motor. it slips when i try to drive it, i was thinking the pinion needed to have a few more teeth so maybe a 19 or 20. i was seeing if i was correct or not

Have you checked the gear mesh? Is your slipper clutch adjusted properly?
