  1. Senton 6s
Juat wondering if anyone is having as much drama as I am ?
I have one of the original Senton with the blue, red and white graphics.
Just put a new steering servo in and took it out today for a run. It was in a park with just grass , bit dry as we’ve had no rain.
Ran it on 4s for about 20 mins , all good. Put it on 6s , ran for about 10 mins , next minute , smoke pouring out of the chassis.
Ran over and pulled all apart , the ESC had absolutely melted, with all the connecting wires as well.
This is the second ESC I’ve put in. Went with the Redback Beast 150 A.
I’m guessing the fan got clogged with a piece of grass and over heated.
Anyone else having over hearing problems because of the same issue ?
Sick of putting money in to it. Probably going to give up on this one and buy the newer model.

Newer model or not won't fix the ESC problem.

Question, was the first ESC that burnt up the original red, BLX 180? If so, those are really well known for burning up. I would personally recommend a Hobbywing ESC and putting a screen over the fan to keep anything from getting up and blocking the fan.

The first ESC was the original one.
I’ll check out the Hobbywimg one. Thanks.
Can you buy a cover for them, or is it something you have to make up yourself ?

Something you make yourself. You can use something like a piece of screen from a screen door and attach it to the top. You can use the screws for the esc fan, depending on what you use for the material, or hot glue or a bunch of stuff.
