Truck owner looking for transport ideas.

I have a crew cab truck that I drive daily but also at any given point have 1-3 kids riding in the backseat so transporting everyone means my r/c trucks have to be placed in the bed of the truck. I do have a hard bed cover on my truck but need to prevent them from rolling or sliding all over the place (broke a toe link this way). Ideas please on what some of y'all may use to keep everything organized and contained for travel.

I use one of these to transport my RCs and gear to wherever I'm going to bash. It might not work for huge, very wide trucks, or you may at least have to take the wheels off.

I'd considered building a "platform" from scrap wood that the tires would just set inside, but I chose to go with the storage bin because I wanted to be able put it in my truck, in my wagon, my wife's SUV, or the backseat of a car if necessary. It's a far more universal solution IMO.
