With a LOT of help from you guys... finally figured out a good setup for asphalt, concrete parks, and clay tracks. Lowered the whole truck an inch and a half by running the front solid spacers on the rear shocks, the fat clips on the front, and skinny clips on the back. Made the truck pretty level. Running 70wt Losi (910cst) oil on all four corners, Duratrax Picket ST wheel/tire combo and 12mm hex conversion. Also running a Typhon wing, and lowered the front body mount to the bottom holes.

Take note the Badland 2.8 on Raid rims in the background... a quick tire change, some additional spacers on the shocks, and it quickly transforms back into a dirt monster.

Absolutely loving how the ST (skinnier) tires handle and look! Big shout out to @razorrc and @jondilly1974 for tuning help and inspiration on the over-all look.

Well done - it looks fantastic. I can see myself doing a similar thing to my BRCC in the future.

Im a noob - would you mind explaining this a bit more? Are you referring to the stock parts? Running the O-Ring spacers on the back instead of the front and then using the fat pre-load spacers on the front and the thinner pre-load spacers on the back?

The "stance" can be accomplished with stock parts. Exactly as you said... front spacers with the "RR" on them out back, and no spacer on the front. Then just add clips until the lower A-arms are level with the ground. Mine ended up being the skinniest clip out back and the largest clip up front. Be sure to do this fully loaded with the body on and battery installed.

Hi there

Truck looks great, I love a truggy!

Any chance of some close up pics showing how the wing is attached?

I updated the wheelie bar mount and tossed on some Outcast 4S bumpers. Soon to do a body swap.

The stock wheelie bar bolted right to the wing with the removal of 1 screw, bored out to 4mm, and installed the stock pin. Then I drilled a couple small 1mm holes for some M2 bolts further up.

Came out decent!

Is there a reason you added the T2T brace? I have one but never installed it. Wondering if I should consider adding it.

Is that an outcast tower to tower brace?

I'm looking at buying a 3s granite over winter so I'm shopping around for worthy upgrades/mods now.

Cool, thanks!

Is it a direct fit or does anything need modifying?

Direct fit. You may want to get longer bolts for your body posts and drill into the bulkhead support. Will help keep it in place.

As far as bending the motor plate... I bought a hot-racing one... which is pretty flimsy. Bending the plate happens when you land hard enough to flex the chassis and the floor of the chassis pushes the motor up and can twist the plate.

You can install the T2T brace without drilling anything. There are two plastic blocks that drop in the tower before the body posts are installed. You can see them in the exploded diagrams. They don’t come with the brace, even if you buy it from JRC. They package them with the towers and all the odds and ends plastic pieces. It won’t help the motor mount tho. You need to brace the rear of the motor can somehow. I’m making a brace for myself and have shared the idea in another thread. I haven’t used it yet, so not ready to crown it yet. I will let y’all know when I do. Tying to figure out my radio issues so I can go try it out.

That’s one sweet looking truck. I may have to do something like that to my BRCC

Nice looking custom rig!

Like the wider stance and lower profile.
