Arrma RC's
So I've been larking around for some time thought i start a project thread to exchange knowledge and findings and also to keep track of what I have done couse as you will all see It's got out of hand soon after I started with the truggyfied Typhon concept.

So I own a Typhon 6s V2 and (used to) a Kraton 6s v2 witch broke down every 5 minutes so I traded it for 2 Team Durango DEX8's..
Plan was to keep the Typhon as it was and truggyfy the DEX8. Now both are frankesteined with similar setups.

Truggy set up :
DEX8 chassis 7075
Arrma V4 motor mount
DEX8 shock towers 7075
Mugen MBX8 front arms (will upgrade the rear ones as soon as i brake them)
Outcast side mud guards
Outcast middle tower
Proline Silverado body
MX28 tires with alloy hubs upgrade
Senton body mounts
Kraton hubs
Pos Kraton front bumper
Will update and add more pics and info as soon as I find the time

This is awesome! What are the front mudguards? Normal OC guards with a seal on top?
Yes outcast mudgurds with an extra seal for the proline body. I got a Kraton 4s body the other week well see if the seals will be needed!
This weekend I got a set of Mugen diffs coming in, will be interesting if they will fit!

Nice! I have the mudguards on the way for my Typhon. I added the OC sideguards and now the front of the body is open because it doesn’t completely fit over them. The mudguards may look goofy but I’m going to see if I can trim the tops and do what you’ve done here with the seals.

Hey @Madnick, I see those chassis’s pretty cheap and they are 7075 aluminum. How much lines up on them from the typhon? Looks like the motor mount, bottom fr hinge pin holder, and chassis braces need re drilled but what about the battery tray, side guards etc. Looks like a real bargain light weight alternative to an m2c swb chassis.

Update - No go, didn’t work and can’t modify to make them work.

Yes they are cheap while stock lasts, I already got 2 new for the typhon and one truggy (witch is same Kraton-Talion) chassis to build a hybrid Talion-Mohave-Mugen
The front and rear diff cases obviously they fit straight on. the holes for the battery are for the older arrma battery tray, thats why i did the carbon adapter plate for the newer battery box.
The motor mount 2 holes line up I drilled 3 new ones ( it sits a bit tilt and not straight but thats just cosmetic doesn't affect anything)
the ESC tray I used the original team durango ( for the Typhon chassis needs to be trimmed as the middle diff holder is in the way.
Servo mount 2 holes original just drill 2 new ones
The thing is the middle driveshafts for the Typhon I used an Infraction front shaft and for the rear I used a rear wheel dogbone (typhon again) witch I just made the ball end smaller to fit the diff cup.
