I just picked up a used V1. It had a roached out body and some mismatched tires so I am throwing V3 versions at it. I plan to race this thing at my local off road dirt track. There is a 2s limit so stock ESC should be fine. Are there any parts on the V3 that I should add to the list of upgrades for my "new" Talion?

The list of upgrades upon upgrades is long :) even the V3 needs some upgrades.

I would just race the thing like it is, break something, search this forum and go from there.

Fair enough. Once I get this thing home I'll upload some pics. I'm not even sure if it's stock.

Jenny’s rc has parted out trucks for sale so you can buy the v3 parts you want for quite cheap.

Tried to. It said not enough memory. I want to keep the file size so you can actually see some detail. I'll see what I can do.

Just resize them to 1024x768 or 1280x1024, that's big enough.

Obviously the ESC and motor are not stock. It looks like the shock towers are aluminum. Is that stock?

Yes, the stock shock towers are aluminum.

Looks stock and it seems to be in a nice condition, like you say esc, motor and motor is not stock and also the servo. The esc and motor is a bit too small for a 1/8. Like I wrote earlier, just get the thing running and see how it runs. I would'nt throw too much money in it. It will be cheaper to buy a used V3 perhaps even a new one.
