did this on my channel (purchased the packs myself):

The Rapids are very good packs - right up there with the Graphene Panthers - if not better, and they are hardcase.

If you do buy any please can you use the links in the description - will help me buy more ???

Also there is a good site for C ratings - https://www.liporatings.com/ - although it seems to be down at the moment

the Alphas are hand picked cells - - bit like Intel and AMD when the pick best silicon for higher spec CPU's
It's been down for a few weeks now. His thread on Rctalk is still there https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?1767093-Battery-Load-Test-Comparisons

Hi just seen your post with the rapids i run 4s and 6s fo you have any run times for these for general bashing i am also from the uk and a newbie keen to learn can you advise me what is the best set up to run my 6s outcast both 4s and 6s with the rapids cheers, oh and i will subscribe to your channel im all about supporting fellow countryman ?

Hi, thanks for the sub on my channel (y)

Just been out in the Kraton 6s and Notorius 6s both running 6s Turnigy Rapids (2 x 3s packs in eash), General skate park bashing and some running in the park. Session lasted about 30 minutes (will be putting this up on the channel once i have edited it and after my Senton unboxing video and first run), weather was typical English weekend drizzle :) so packed up to head home - when checking the packs before chargering found that they were already pretty much at storage charge (45% charged). so they last plenty longer enough. If on the other hand you are just blasting in Fields / parks at full tilt constantly at full throttle then they last about 15 minutes (This video shows the Typon running at full tilt on them. Trust this helps)

evening mate that more than helps its made my mind up especially if your managing 30 mins out of one charge !? where is the best place to get them and what sort of money we talking for 2x3s and 2x2s also and i don't mean to overload you with queries but what charger do you recimend i like what ive seen from your channel and thoroughly appreciate your advice ??

Can only get the Turnigy rapids from Hobbyking, 3s are £46 and the 2s are £32:

2s: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy...ffiliate_code=FASSYMTTSPUEGLJ&_asc=6644856709
3s: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy...ffiliate_code=FASSYMTTSPUEGLJ&_asc=5838689187
4s: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy...ffiliate_code=FASSYMTTSPUEGLJ&_asc=1659129957

Chargers i would recommend this one, i use two of these, very good with good wattage 150watts so no issues charging a 5000mah 4s and 5000mah 3s at same time at 1c, touch screen as well ? https://www.banggood.com/custlink/GvvhCv8TQM

Think it really depends what you will be using them for - if general bashing then i would say no - if for racing then it probably is worth it

I just ordered four of these batteries in 4s for my power hungry XLX2 AND 800KV MOTOR running on my Outcast 8s.

How are those batteries performing on your XLX2/800kV combo?
I am interested for my Kraton 8S 800kV
For what it's worth, my brother has been using both my 4S Rapid packs in his HPI Baja which is running the XLX2/800kV combo, he's pulling nearly 300 amps and it's constantly pulling wheelies.
Those packs have been pretty abused by me with an XLX/800kV stretched Typhon setup, I frequently pulled around 250A in that car before the XLX exploded.

Thanx for the info! (y)

Pretty good. I'm actually using it the 1100kv KV motor now. But I did use them with the 800kv motor with no issues. They just get a little warm. My case is splitting at the ends, but I'm going to put gorilla tape. I also use them on my X-Maxx laying on their side very tightly so I think that's why that happened. It hasn't affected performance though. I'll take a pic. These batteries are very good. I changed my plugs to XT150. Way better than XT90.

My only complaint is the wire gauge they used, Rapid packs have 12AWG despite having a ridiculous C rating.
Whereas Graphene Panther packs have 10AWG which is far more reasonable.
I'd still prefer 8AWG if I could have it though.

Does anyone know how to open them safely?

I just had one of my 4s packs out, something's rattling in there now (and it sounds like a tiny piece of metal, like a small solder blob or something) and i'd like to get that out, and see what happened. Don't feel comfortable with it at the moment.

I have 3 runs on my 4s rapid. It has been discharging very unevenly. Lvc set to 3.2v( bumped to 3.4 now). Data logs from the mmx for the runs was showing 150-160amp peaks. It’s definitely a beast of a battery and runs hard right to lvc
