Big Rock Typhon 1/8 Scale Buggy Vs Big Rock Crew Cab

After just poking around YouTube I watched a review of the Typhon 3s and the reviewer commented that the Typhon 3s is built on the -exact- same chassis as the Big Rock Crew Cab (which I own) and the only difference is a couple of minor things like the body is different, the shocks have a cap covering them, the bumpers, wing, and most notably, the suspension is slightly wider and the wheels are obviously different.

So here's what I'm getting at... The BRCC is considered 10th scale. The Typhon is 8th scale. Same chassis. Same wheel base roughly right? Typhon is just a little lower and a little wider, which you can easily make the BRCC a little lower and a little wider. So, with a couple adjustments, a guy could make his BRCC a Typhon clone... Yeah? Or am I totally stupid and missing something?

I've just converted my granite to a Typhon, that's the great thing about these 3s rigs is that you can swap and change as needed, I'll probably turn it into a senton in the summer
