Typhon 3s in 13t pinion all stock was wondering how it worked? Going for drag racing have foam tires and dboot tires. How was the pick up? How much top speed did you lose ?
 
Can't speak to pickup but speed calculates to 13.3% loss because 13T has 13.3% less teeth than 15T, so % lost is proportional.

I use a RC gear calculator app to calculate estimated speeds. Takes into account internal gear ratio, pinion/spur tooth count, tire size, battery voltage, and motor kv. You can use the "compare" feature on the arrma-rc.com page to get the details you need for gears and ratios and go from there. Attached is the Typhon 3s 15T vs. 13T with the stock tires on 3s (12.6v fully charged) and stock 3200kv motor according to the app I use.

That’s too small of a gear. You might over rev that motor. I would go 15-18T for drag. Anything over 18T will start to cog off rip.
 
I run a 19 tooth Robinson Racing in my T3S... It rips and does great!. Added a Yeah Tornado fan to control the heat. Love it!

What would be the speed of a 4s truck with the 2400kv motor? On 15t

Dude just get the app haha it's free, name is at the top. But here ya go anyways, theoretical speed with stock Typhon 3s tires.
