Ok run anywhere grass, clay, dirt, gravel little asphalt. So typhon 3s on lose gravel or dirt it rides like 2wd fishtaling all over the place compared to my losi ten scbe.
It makes sense to put heavier oil on the front diff am running stock oil and how big can I go on the pinion gear to get more speed?

I would thin out the rear diff first. Lower the chassis, back end may be too high. Check camber all around, etc. Drive it a while. Then if not enough, need to thicken the diff at the front . It is all to easy to overshoot oil being too thick. Then you will be chasing a ghost trying to make it hook up.
Don't overlook your driving skills. Adapting to the car is 50% of it. At some pont good enough is just good enough of a set up. Just keep driving it. Make it react to what you want it to do, instead of reacting to what it does. Easier said than done. That's how the best drivers do it.
You are describing 2WD understeer?

Funny just thought the same thing. Ran the Typhon 3s on pavement yesterday and it does really understeer.
Just checked I have front 20k oil, rear 10k oil and 800k oil in the shocks.

What oil do you guys run in the Typon 3s?

Both typhoons..50k front.........30k rear. 40wt.shocks. Arms level at rebound. .....love the way it handles on dirt and grass.

I just put 60wt front and back after breaking a shock today. I'll let you guys know how it feels.

What is the stock oil in the 3s anyways?
10k front and rear diffs and half full if your lucky. Not sure about the shocks.

Okay I just came back from an evening rip.

On stock tires I noticed a lot more grip on short wet grass. I just ran it through a park and soccer field and I had a lot more control. 60wt made a significant improvement so far.

I'm going to a dirt track tomorrow, I'll report back if I notice any difference on loose dirt

Cool thank you. I did lower the chassis and I will tested tomorrow too
