I’ve used Powerhobby mounts for about 18 months now and am happy with them. Not sure if they would hold up to extreme jumps and stuff, but that’s not what I do so all good.

Is there much difference in brands of brushless motors? Are there ones with better bearings that hold up longer?

It really depends on the application and how much you need to squeak out every ounce of power.

Cheap motors can be great for general bashing. But speed runners, drag racers, etc. only use high quality motors. Every component within the motor is better. Castle and TP make some of the best motors.

Never go cheap on ESCs though. Stick with name brand.
