Typhon 6s build

Just doing this to complete the forum list of things to do. My typhon has been an on going build and evolving car.
Currently it's rocking:
Castle 2028 1100kv
Xlx 2
Gp5 diffs
Homemade esc mount
Homemade wing
Talion chassis
M2c drive shafts
No front shocks just turnbuckles
Exb chassis braces

With a tp 4060 I was able to hit 115mph on 3s and a sketchy Azz road.

I really dig the new and redesigned GRPs. They're balanced and they really hold up exceptionally well. Can recommend.

I got xm5 and they're still sticky but hold up pretty well too.

Hoping the highish kv does good on 3 and 4s.
@Diem Turner I got some gpm stuff otw to hopefully help take some slop out. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction brother

Let me know how it works out for you. I really like the GPM tie rods. They make adjustments sooo much easier. Gut feeling tells me that motor should rock on 3S & 4S. Can't wait to see how she does.

Man the 5670 surprised the hell out of me. I had it geared, I thought. For low 90s but hit 104. Wish the weather and work would allow me to run more. Maybe I got a motor with a higher than advertised kv sucker ran nice and cool but I keep having an issue with the xlx2 that in the typhon. It throws the excessive load code all the time. Sometimes just when I'm turning around to start a run. Poor xlx2 got pushed hard AF during summer though.

All on 3S btw

Crashed yesterday making a 4s pass.
Beat the wing back out into an acceptable shape and replaced the servo with one I got off amazon months ago.

Love how you have worked with the sheet meal on this build also. That wing looks like would be very effective in helping the car drive straight. Having the rounded bends on the front leading edge is ideal

Appreciate the acknowledgement of my handy work I kept the pattern I made so if I destroy it I can make another easily. I want to make my own nose piece one day. Even if I don't use it.
