Hi folks,

I'm planning on buying a Typhon 6S TLR and I've seen one of the first things that could be done to enforce the chassis was to replace the original plastic braces with the red aluminium EXB (ARA320564 and ARA320566). Fair enough.

But I see the front one seems to require another part: "Must be combined with ARA320598 - ALUMINUM TOP PLATE (BLACK) due to 4mm mounting screw."

Anyone has installed these aluminium braces and confirm we need this top plate?

Thanks for your help!

Planned use is bashing and jumping.

The TLR should have the EXB-compatible top plate with a M4 hole ready to use.
You just need to flip the plate up-side-down.

Oh really?
That would be awesome! Anyone to confirm?
Yes. The black top plate has two holes & can be flipped. Under it it has the words EXB compatible on it.
