Typhon Typhon 6s EXB

So I’m sure you’ve all seen my typhon “exb” I did awhile back...

So, that was almost fully exb... now I’m gonna go all out, I just snagged up some GP5 diffs from the V2 infraction from Jenny’s and I used my points at HH to get myself an EXB SWB chassis. I also have the rest of the neccisary parts for it to be considered a full “exb typhon” meaning it will have everything the kraton exb does except typhon ?

I’m very curious... has anyone taken their infraction V2 diffs apart?? What do those look like on the inside? I’ve noticed that they share a similar if not same diff case as the new kraton EXB’s Only difference is that they have the straight cut gears that an infraction would have but with the wider grip ring and pinions. I wonder if LSD can be fitted to them so I can put lsd in the front diff of the typhon and center. Curious to see how that all feels. I truly liked the feel of the lsd in the kraton and can only imagine it would be a similar experience with a beefy typhon thoughts?

I’ve taken both my Felony and Infraction V2 diffs apart and they look just like V4 diffs on the inside. You won’t be able to fit the LSD plates because the case doesn’t have the features that hold the plate in position.

Ahhhh rats... well, at least it’ll be GP5 spec ... as close to a “Typhon EXB” you can get ?

I can’t justify putting spiral gears in a typhon. Wouldn’t sound the same ?? and I love me a straight cut gear sound.

I have to ask......and I don’t want to sound like a weenie,.....why do I see some guys wearing gloves when doing RC work? I would surmise the gloves would get punctured one way or another...

For me, I wear them When I’m doing anything with chemicals. I think I was wearing them cause I was using loctite with certain things and it tends to irritate my skin. ??‍. I don’t always wear them but I was here for the loctite.
