Just wanted to see if y’all had seen this before. The inside of my main gear on the center diff has been unevenly worn under where the spider gear goes. It is worn in a half circle pattern that is larger than the actual spider gear. I’m worried about using this gear. Is this worn or poorly machined?

What’s funny is looking at these pics on my phone, it is super obvious it’s a partial gasket, but by the naked eye, it was much harder to tell. Time to get some new contacts. It felt like metal to my hand. It was close to the same color too.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. It’s all back together with fresh shims and 500k and back in the Typhon. Gonna give it hell today.

I've seen people post that their diffs didn't come with gaskets because it blended in so well ?
