I kind of view it as a cool product without a target customer. It is a race-tuned basher buggy. 1/8 buggy racers aren't going to buy it over the purpose build race platforms that already exist. The race-tuned upgrades aren't really necessary for bashers. Who is the target customer?

Having said that, I wouldn't mind owning one... ;)

What about the fact it's a roller? It's cheaper than RTR and you're not handcuffed to the stock Spectrum electronics. Is there potential value in that aspect?

Also, would be curious to hear if the QC on these rigs is better than stock Arrma.

Sure, but for a basher, an EXB roller would have made more sense than a TLR version. This is a move to get Arrma into the race scene, but 1/8 race buggy is a tough crowd.

should be a good basher with all 7075 aluminium upgrades as long as the 7075 aluminium is not like the exb aluminium

The TLRT Typhon chassis is CNC'ed. A different animal than the RTR chassis.
The TLRT chassis is listed as RTR Typhon option part. No price or availability is set, as are the other TLRT stuff.
