I just got a Typhon, Gets dark here by 4pm so I stuck some LEDs on the wing to make it easier to track in the car park after work.

Is this what you are using @bicketybam I was going to install my new CC 2.0 bec, but may just say screw it and upgrade motor and esc, or if I just upgrade to the Mamba Monster X Extreme esc and use the stock motor make any sense as in the second link

Yes. That’s the combo I use. Super zippy. If you are going to keep the stock motor, I’d look at a Max 6 or Max 8.

More top end on the CC because it’s 2200kv vs 2050.

Anything needs to be modified or done to make the new CC motor esc work? Bolts right up to stock motor mount and gear?

Direct fit. No mods needed. The ESC needs to be taped and tiewrapped though. No mounting holes.
