Can’t believe the drivers did that, hope they damaged their own car!
That was a sick run though dude, actually saw 1 of your other vids today, the 22s 4s run.
Were all your diffs locked or just the center?
Had spool in center an diffs where 99% locked with ear plugs..

Yeah please dude that’d be great, I’d love to see that video if it’s easy for you to find👍 And sorry for late reply but I’m in the uk so I needed to sleep.
I totally understand and agree with what you’re saying about a looser center diff and the ballooning but in my head (and this is the bit I can’t seem to get my head around) is I was to lighten the centre a little it would pull a little more from the front and with thicker front oil would keep it pulling straight. I honestly don’t know why I can’t get my head around it. Like I said early on it already lifts the front when it grips up. I think like u said, I should just try and up the weight and see how it goes.
Problem with uk is the rds are generally poop so the car bounces around a lot. I’ve been to Maui loads of times and the difference between the rds in the US compared to uk is night and day
A good road is key.im very lucky to have mine..have had guys drive over 10hrs to run on my road...it don't get much better for a public road..for good speeds ya need to go far...farther ya go the faster ya can go..

I live in the British countryside right up in the NE 20 minutes from Scotland surrounded by some of the shittiest rds ever built and it’s a tourist spot. I know the whole area of thousands of sq miles well and I still can’t think of or find a good rd and I’m definitely not into driving 10 hours.
poop the ferry to France is closer!
Dude I want to say thank you for your help, you’ve given me plenty to go on so I’ll start playing with what you suggested.
Total legend
Thank you!🙏
Ps I might enter it into the “Rig Of The Month” comp, people seem to like it, maybe I get lucky 🤞😁

That’s cool as hell! Where did you get that body? I have a Typhon that gets no action but this ,maybe with some kind of off road tire ( if they can be found ) would be awesome on my little off-road track ( flat area in my yard where 6&8s trucks have stripped all grass)
1/8th Badlands should fit if you were to go full MX style tread. If not then there’s a load of wheels and tyres that would be great for a rally car , Katars being 1. The only thing that u will need to do is put fuel pipe inside the shock boot to limit travel or your gonna wreck the body. For this (and wanting the option to switch it to a Typhon is I got bored) I have had to add fuel tube to limit upwards travel and I had to add loads of washers on the droop to get the ride height correct plus it’s running 2000cst in the standard typhon shocks to help with bounce. It’s left with about 3/4-1cm of suspension travel front and back 👍

So today I rebuilt the diffs with what I had to hand 300/500/200 and it has helped with straight line speed.
I didn’t want to go all the way with locked diffs just yet as I wanted to try with what I had first.
Before I stripped the diffs this was one of the quietest RCs I’ve ever had/used but now, I’m not sure why but it’s loud as hell. The diffs seem to be clicking but I triple checked everything before installing. The only thing I can think of, and I’ve had this happen before is that I’ve shimed it too tight or I’ve over tightened the the diff cover. I had that happen with my Kraton once but I can’t seem to hear which diff the noise is coming from.
The housings need replacing anyway so I guess that’s gonna be the next thing.
Plus the tyres I’m using are $20 Hoons copies so that isn’t helping with grip as there super hard and only bought for drifting and saving a bit money.
Overall I’m happy with the results but I am going to buy some real heavy weight diff oil and rebuild everything again. It’s part of the hobby so nothing is a failure 😉👍

Dude I’ve ran into a problem and for life of me can’t work it out, was hoping you might be able to help. Before changing the diff oils my car was super quiet, now it’s loud and sounds like it’s grinding on something. I’ve taken the diffs out, checked them over and they’re all smooth as silk. Put 1 in check it’s quiet and it’s fine, 2 diffs in fine all 3 in and it sounds horrible.
Any ideas???

It's possible to put them in backwards.ive front tires turning backwards an rears turning foward b4...had to take it all apart again.if ya don't have input gear extended all the way when attaching cup it could be pushing input gear into diff cup...best to remove entire diff housing so get diffs right it's most likely input gear,an cup..gotta push on input gear from inside when putting cup on or your just pushing gear into diff cup then tightening cup. Gear will wear hole throu cup.

Gearbis rubbing cup I bet....cup will wear until it rips this grub screw out an fluid leaks out

Cheers dude but I checked all this. Every thing is back in the right way. Everything seems to be correct so the best probable plan I think is both entire diff housings should be replaced and everything done again. Maybe get rid of the LSD plates in center diff and go to open.
My thinking being less parts less problems.
It’s annoying as I have always built my own diffs , never had 1 go bad on me or anything while ragging the balls off the cars but I just can’t figure out what is causing the noise.
Best start stripping the car🤦‍♂️🤯👈
