As spring rolled in on me quickly this year i desperately needed to do some maintenance, cleaning, and upgrading. Found some worn out parts that got overlooked last season. I found a shattered bearing in a hub, a bent cvd axle, bent upper shock bolt, bad diff gasket, input shaft cups front and rear were on their last legs. Then their was the stock trash heap of an esc that failed on me "AGAIN" so i ripped it out. Maybe i should stop bashing/racing so hard? Never! If your not breaking parts then your not having fun am i right? This year i decided to buy the proper shims for my diffs seeing as i shattered 2 satellite gears last year. Bought a hobbywing max 8, new AVID bearings throughout, new input shaft cups, new diff gaskets, and some extra battery straps just for insurance. I used a torch and hammer to fix my bent cvd which to my dismay actually seemed to work. I then decided to take a page out of the v3 body and add a few more vents as well. Not having a proper man cave i resorted to my kitchen table. My wife really loves this mess lol! What setups do you have at home to make me uberly jealous?

Got the Tekin rx8 and 2000kv senseless truggy motor in my Typhon. Went with the bigger can for the motor to keep temps down and how it balances out with weight. Took it out for some Easter bashing with the nephews... it's like highly controllable rocket ship! V2 body on a v3.

Thats a nice looking setup. I like the new paint scheme as well. Curious what pinion your running with that motor and on 4s or 6s?

Running 19t right now for both 4&6s. Super fast but have some bigger pinions on the way. Motor is staying nice and cool!
