First let me say, Arrma reminds me So Much of Schiit Audio!
If you Like great sounding Audio (though speakers or headphones) thats affordable and fun to own, so you have more for your RC's then you Need to own some Schiit Audio! its not expensive in Audiophile terms and this stuff gives up allot of Fidelity for the $$$. Just remember its a piece of schiit. Everyone should own a piece of schiit audio.
ARRMA is Just SO Great to Work on!
Im afraid of Traxxas i just don't have that much time left to give up.
So Im close to having all the parts for a Kraton 6S available. (Thank you JRC!)
Stock parts im still missing are these and I can go Kraton or Talion.
- Differentials and Blocks (all 3)
- Shocks (F/R)
- Shock-Towers (F/R)
- Body shell
Right now I have and will be using Typhon BLX Differentials and Shock Towers. Mohave & Typhon Shocks. Typhon Body Shell. A Truggy in different phases.
But Im 80% from having my Typhon 6S back as a roller too LOL
So I might as well get another car out of all this in one way or another. Id like to get the XLWB chassis for the Typhon. Another project... I digress.
Im torn between Talion towers/shocks and body over Kraton.
As a Truggy I can also go with shorter A-arms then them, and keep it more buggy, I'll decide as I use it. But im set on building either a Kraton or Talion type.
My Question to you guys is about Differentials for the Typhon/Kraton/Truggy. Since I have a set of Typhon 6S BLX Difs and will eventually buy another set for a build Im wondering if I should stick with the Typhon ones im using or what-else can/should I try. Kraton? Talion?
From experience, whats a Fun balance running grass, dirt and parks. Gravel and street, curbs. I'll be running 2.8 and 3.8 tires in both on and off road treads.
Kraton:
c 12t/50t
f/r 43t/10t
Internal Gear: 4.3
Final Drive: 17.92:1
Talion:
c 15t/50t
f/r 42t/10t
Internal Gear: 4.3
Final Drive: 14.33:1
Typhon:
c 18t/50t (16/50 stock)
f/r 43t/13t
Internal Gear: 3.3
Final Drive: 10.31:1
