Ran my felony 2 times with the 6s spektrum system (about 1/2 hr) could never get a Wot speed test, always went to limp mode. My top speed with the 27t pinion 73mph, and that's with a short run area. This week I purchased castle mamba 8s combo with the 1650kv motor, dual fan setup and of course 2 4s 200 burst 100 continuous lipos. Might try to get out later for test but probably not a speed run. It's about 30 with a wind chill in the 20,s in north NJ.

you should have put one of those fans on the ESC also! I also noticed you didn't install the sensor wire from the ESC to the motor.

I'm not new to RC I have been running 1/5 scale gas for quite a while, but still learning about this electric stuff. What's the pros and cons of the sensor wire. The more and learn about this the better I'll be. Esc has a fan why would I add another? Any feed back would be much appreciated. Thanks

The stock ESC fan doesn’t run all the time and there junk so i replace them. I used the same fan on my sons infraction. I’m the last person on this forum to give the why “sensored better” story all I know is I can do things with the MMX8S/1650kv that I can’t do with a max6/1650kv setup driving wise.

Thanks for the reply, where did you get that esc switch mounting plate? Those power hobby fans definitely have some balls. Turn them on and it's like fasten your seat belt were ready for take off.🤣 My local Rc guy is like 3 miles away and power hobby and nitro hobbies is like 1/2 from me. I consider myself lucky.

The mounting plate is a 4th dimension RC plate. Ya, the fans are strong I run mine at 7.4v much more air flow then 6.0v.
