Hi guys,

I got a Kraton with an unbreakable body and I love it. Those things are soooo much more durable than the stock ones.
As I am strongly considering to get an Outcast, I'm alrealy looking for an unbreakable body for it.

The problem is that I don't know wich unbreakable body would easily fit the Outcast.

I was considering this one : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Original-Un...h=item23af2e482f:g:Y9sAAOSwUaJZnoJt:rk:7:pf:0
But I'm really not sure if the dimensions are OK without complex modifications.

Do you guys know wich of thoses bodies would do the job?

I'm friends with this guy on Facebook^^^ I'll see if I can get some wheelbase numbers from him.

One of the guys on one of the Facebook groups was running this body on his Outcast https://www.ebay.com/itm/unbreakabl...585450?hash=item2f2786726a:g:s~cAAOSw5TpaoRfe

I'd just make sure that you get the right color. The last one took forever to get here and then it came and it was orange. It was my bad just check before you order.

how do we get proline to make a precut brute bash body for us? I went ahead and ordered three bodies for the outcast and like the look of the Notorious body on it. I would love to have a jeep body which I have seen on eBay however Proline makes quality products and would like them to step up and make an unbreakable body that look legit.

Like how the truggy body comes all the way down protecting against debris. Can’t decide if I should raise the front of outcast to make it even (but higher then I like) or leave as is... will play and see

bump
has anyone tried to paint the unbreakable bodies??

i had no luck on mine. Any paint that stayed on would flake off when the body flexed.

i would be interested if someone found something that would stick though.

I use probodyrc's body on my outcast. Has far outlasted the stock body and will continue to do so. I got one for my ERBEv2 and Stampede 4x4 as well. The stampede one was too big, until I put a slash chassis on it. Now it's just about perfect.

Outcast as of 2020/07/10, installed 2019/09/11:

This was the stock body after a year... and many rivets/repairs:

ERBEv2 installed a couple weeks ago after buying it a year ago:

I made a roof skidplate for it. I have a roll bar I made that's on that and that focused pressure would likely cause it to grind through the body, so the roof skid will help with that. I should make one for all 3... but it was painful. I think proline makes some roof skids now that are generic. Might give those a try.
Stampede

Shown just laying on it uncut when it was a stampede chassis 2019/07/22:

And with a slash chassis 2020/05/12:

and later after running it a couple months:

I'll keep buying their bodies, they just hold up so well, it's worth it.

What do you use for the windows? Having at least the windows colored really improves the looks.

On the outcast, I used black vinyl and did a horrible job cutting it out. LOL!
This stuff: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IYI5LTO

On the ERBEv2 and stampede, I used old sticker sheets I had laying around for various RTR bodies I've bought the past 20 years.

They look "good" at a distance. Up close, the outcast windows look pretty horrendous.
