Kraton Undiscovered clicking noise

Ok I have 2 shims on rear diff (no shim behind the main input gear) that mean if i did it would be pushing out more towards the diff but I don’t!! So why the discoloration on the diff.. why is the main input gear making close contact to the diff case..ain’t it pose to be a slightly gap between?

I remember having a bit of clicking on my talion v3 and could never find what it was and it never got any worst like said above just run the car and the problem will show it's self if there's anything wrong
