Kraton Upgrade from v1 to EXB

Appreciate the detailed answer! That’s exactly what I was worried about.

Unfortunately, I already ordered ZD Racing 120/143mm shocks, but expecting potential issues, I also got a shock tower from New Enron - it has 5-6 mounting holes for shock positioning. I’ll figure out what works best through testing. Plus, preload and shock oil viscosity will make the process even more interesting. Once again, thanks a lot for the detailed response!

I'd return the zd Racing shocks they will be a downgrade from even the V1 shocks.

Have no reason not to trust, will note for future upgrade, for now gonna roll with what I have

You have no reason not to trust. The rest of the forum does. Weak, leaky, wobley. Some have strange spring sizes. Granted Iv never used kraton sized, so cross your fingers.

New Enron is another Chinese retailer for alum parts. I imagine it's the same as most, but they do put a little more effort into their listings. So perhaps their qc is also a touch better. I don't see them selling every part known to man either, again possible good side that they arnt shilling the worst crud.

Got steering assembly and wheel hex from enron, seems decent but I'll be careful, thanks for the hint

I'm thinking of changing my V3 Kraton chassis to a EXB. Keeping the V3 shock towers. I like the V3 body more than the V4-5. Also have a V5 anyway. Want to keep them different. Get a EXB chassis from Jenny's.

I would go all out and get the m2c racing chassis no worries then if you have the money

I don't jump this Kraton. I wanted to change chassis just for refresh and the chassis is on Jenny's for $35.
