Can you do a quick write up on how to power the fan with a 9v? I keep putting off the fan because I don’t want to draw on the Lipo. Maybe even better if we could power it with a small rechargeable NiMh battery.

Practically any fan i see from a google search only has a positive and negative wire so they basically can all be powered by batteries

I just did a quick little test and I think this is what I’ll go with. I have an old syma x5sw, I cut the femal battery connector off that and connected it too one yeah racing fan. I’m using the 500mah 3.7v Lipo to power it.

How would I use the harness in the 3rd picture to wire up both fans? The harness has 3 wires vs just the positive and negative on the fan.

Edit: Figured it out. I think this will work pretty well. I will post pics when I’m done. Pics posted in the dual fan thread.

You can use lock tight and they stay cooler in temperate. I just wish gpm or someone else would make 6061 aluminum parts other then hot racing. I have had bad experiences with them.

Hot racing has been around for like 30 plus years. Everyone has issues with some parts but I don't have an issue with them. The diff they made for the mini revo made it livable. Haven't stripped it yet and I was going through rear diffs over and over and over again.
