I have the senton mega and was wondering what some good but cheap upgrades for it. I’ve already upgraded the bearings. But I’m not looking for a esc or motor upgrades.

Make sure you aren't using Deans connectors (AKA T connectors) if you go 3s or higher, they will be a huge bottleneck ;)

Here's what I put in mine (the shopping list):

HR steel spur:

Pinions:

Shaft support:

Adjustable motor mount:

Motor:

Esc:

Heatsync (for motor):

XT90 connectors:

EDIT: don't forget to get an HD rear input gear because sooner or later the stock will shear off at 3s or higher ;)

This may be a dumb question, but how essential is it to replace the stock bearings? Was debating on getting a set of those Fast Eddy bearings for my 4S Outcast.

Also, the DUMBO is definitely amazing for its price.

I bought rubber sealed bearings but I only replace when the need arises. The only time I'd suggest replacing before bearing failure is if you're going to be hitting a lot of water, especially salty water. Otherwise, I just run stock till something breaks then I replace.

That's not to say I don't go ahead and buy the parts ahead of time ;)
These fit the wheel hubs and a lot of other places on the mega (wheel hub bearings are usually the first to fail for me):

Got these for input shafts to the diff (stock bearing got chewed up when the stock input shaft sheared off):

Problem with the dumbo is the only place I can find them is banggood and I prefer not to shop on AlliExpress light myself but if you live in Europe more power to you. The flysky GT3B is $45 through Amazon...both are great radios if you can find them for the money ;)

Here's what I use:

I order stuff from Banggood quite a bit, other than the slow boat shipping I have not had any problems.

I’ve only bought a few things and can say they are really easy to deal with when it comes to warranty. They replaced an entire RTR when the LiPO on the original went bad. I was only expecting a Lipo. They sent a whole new car. No questions asked.
