I'm starting this post for noobs who want to know if they should upgrade certin parts when they break.
One question I have if i should upgrade my bottom front plate to aluminum since I broke it.
Something you might want to consider, though, is that when you upgrade a broken part with a stronger part, you're also moving the point of failure elsewhere. Before upgrading, you might want to evaluate where that next point of failure is, its likelihood of failing, and the cost/effort involved with repairing it versus the part that you're looking at upgrading. You may find that it's better/easier/cheaper to just replace the part that broke in the first place. I'm not saying this is the case with your situation, but it's worth considering.
