SOLD

Hi all,

I’m looking to sell this used Castle XLX for $175 plus shipping.

This is taken out of my speed run Typhon build. Nothing wrong with this ESC, it works perfectly; I’m just switching to an XLX2 and don’t need this one anymore. I bought it new roughly a year ago and ran it for 1 summer. Thank you for looking!

Notes:
  • I soldered 8mm male bullets onto to battery leads for easy cap pack removal, and the motor leads still have the factory 8mm female bullets
  • The RX and AUX wires have been shortened to roughly 200mm in length
  • There is a small slit in the negative (black) battery lead before the large heat shrink (see photos for reference)
  • At the end of this summer (August 2020), I opened the ESC, cleaned off the factory thermal paste and replaced with new thermal paste as well as a thermal pad bridging the motor wires and the heat sink (see photos for reference)
  • At the end of the summer, I also installed the Alza Racing aluminum case (with the universal top plate capable of holding 1 or 2 fans) and fit two Delta FFB0412SHN fans for increased cooling
