So, I used red loctite where I shouldn’t have. I got frustrated with the slipper coming loose. Something seemed off with my sons brcc the other day. So, I went to pull the motor module out to check things out. Well, it was stuck on there and I had to pry hard with 2 flathead screwdrivers to get it out. So, now I need a new input gear but, we have a V2 and that part is discontinued ar310873. I was wondering if the input gear from the V3 is a direct fit ara311031. If the new composite case was in stock, i would’ve bought it along with the metal diff gears. Thanks

It is compatible 👍 the new input shaft is just a bit shorter to make way for a nyloc nut that the new slipper assembly uses

P.s. you'll most likely want to change the diff ring gear too, or your new input gear won't last as long as they'll be more tolerances between the teeth

Thanks! Good call. We run 4s thru it but we have the hot racing diff yokes. The ring gear looks good but for $8 I’d rather not risk it.
