Agreed got Baja tires on my kraton and the hubs have held up well. Was planning to Go the HR route but 6 months in and haven't needed to.

Ye

Yes, the new V3 Kraton rear hubs and steering blocks are beefier and stronger. If you are using a lot bigger and heavier tires and not running 6S and not hitting really big jumps, you might be ok, as some members have not changed to the V3 Kraton hubs, even though they are using much bigger & heavier tires...

I had a look at the hubs and they don't really look stronger, but they are longer (or is it wider?any way, in the direction of the CVD, so more offset) and thus a different shape, but besides the extended part that is supported by extra ribs, the rest looks identical.

Hard to say if they're stronger. The front hub's on the Kraton/Outcast are updated a couple of times.
The Talion V3 front hubs are the same as Kraton V1 for some reason, don't know why they have not updated those, maybe the updates on the Kraton/Outcast was just to be able to have a different offset/wider CVD ?
For the front hubs, the Kraton/Outcast V3 share the same hub and they use a wider CVD axle than the Talion V3. The driveshaft is the same.

Ahhh yes! Are you able to weigh each one? If you can and post the wights thatd be amazing!

Yeah they are basically 1/5, beadlocks, bit with a 17mm hex. They show them on an erevo 2.0 in the marketing thpugh, not on fifth scale

Here's a little bit of my experience... I don't have a Talion (I have a Kraton).. Badlands 3.8 seem to be a really nice, light and grippy tire. Not tried the backflips:

I had backflips on my talion. Great tire for traction and flips. However I feel like it's just too much tire...hard on the drive train. I broke more parts then I ever have using them.

Yeah I don't have a Talion but I think the Badlands (being nearly the same tread pattern) but lighter by a good bit and smaller would be a good balance point. Really great tire.
