Pulled a frame from the 8s pass, right when I let out at 69mph

Tiny update. In a wheelie still not full throttle. Blew rear diff. Paddles are too aggressive to put the power down.

I’m not real sure on sand like you have but around me where we run more grassy fields, that’s close max speed off road on a SWB chassis, I was shocked you got in the 70’s. I find once your running big power it’s all about holding the front down on off road speed running.

Yeah I know stretching it would obviously be the best route to try and get more power down but I already had bought the titanium shafts and didn’t wanna buy new longer set at the time. Lol I got a couple other things to try when it ain’t raining that should help me at least put more power down. I did several 70’s mph runs that day. All the videos suck tho cause it’s just a wheelie machine, and you can hear the motor whine is definitely not full power lol

Been busy, little update. Narrowed it to stock width, and gonna try and run buggy tires. Was able to put power down on 6s. 69mph on sand motor cold to touch, much larger pinion one the way. Buggy is 8.3 lbs without battery.

No. Think I’m just gonna run esc in the back and keep a lot of the weight more front bias
& this is a talion chassis correct? I had a difficult time fitting the xlx2 w/a Kraton chassis. Ended up flipping the pps mount & having to do A LOT of reconfiguring. Seems Iike I'm the only one here?

Yes I chose the Talion chassis. Interesting I never see one done like yours. Hindsight I shoulda just did the Mojave chassis. The xlx2 is so damn big lol

Esc plate made, and bonded to chassis spaced for batteries in front for weight bias. Vhb used to bond, clamped up snug for the night.
