Kraton v5 compatability

Hi i have a kraton 6s v4. i just stripped the rear diff ring gear and pinion, wanted to get the complete exb gearbox as i read they're more durable and won't strip. will this fit a v4 kraton? will i be able to run it with no esc punch setting on pavement like i want (full power)? thanks.

I have had better results with RTR gearboxes, but the EXB is compatible:

It will work but the RTR gears are plenty durable. Might be worth it to figure out what caused the ring gear/pinion to strip - was it a bearing that went bad or a cracked diff housing?

neither, i think i was just being really rough on it on pavement. what's the general rule for parts of different versions? are they interchangable?

Mostly, arms are different and chassis but still interchangeable with a little mods.
