Kraton V5 Kraton steering swap with v6 EXB

So as you may know, the steering in the V5 kraton sucks balls. So what I have in mind is to swap the servo and the whole steering assembly from the V6 EXB. Is there any reason why this would not work? I've already ordered the parts so fingers crossed no one says flat out "that aint gonna work"

Yep I hear direct swap is no issue but there is a 12$ aftermarket spring that helps too.

You can also use washers to tighten it up.

I have that HR servo saver tube and it works well for me.

It's fits perfectly the new v2 servo saver, got one in my Typhon 6s

Thanks for this. Maybe I’ll order this as well and throw the old parts in a Frankenstein creation of a rc with the bucket of parts i have laying around.
