Kraton V6 kraton, how to tell if I need to shim diffs?

Got the new v6 kraton, haven't run it yet, just making sure everything is good first. How do I tell if the diffs need shimming? When I roll the rc it makes allot of drive train noise and has a decent amount of resistance.

Wouldn’t check them until you’ve run through a couple packs to let everything heat cycle into the composites.

I had a used kraton exb a while back but I didn't get much experience with it before I had to sell. This is my first new Arma kraton 6s

Hey guys I bought a diff kit for my Kraton 6S.

It came with shims (spacers).

How do I know when do SHIM my diffs?

Where do I put them if I do it?

What @Garcbomber said, run a few packs first THEN check it. The diffs need to break in first.
Then you can check for play in the internal gears, cups and ring/pinion.

Ran a battery pack through it today. Man this thing is wild, couldn't imagine it needing any more power!
