Heat shouldn’t be a problem with the esc again.
Going to use a mini 3s to run it

Making a few changing to the stock body car today. Trying out the hot racing servo saver to see if I can tell a difference keeping the car straight.
Decided to shuffle my esc’s around:
Mmx8s I had in this I added a fanwercs fan plus a small battery and it had a cap pack, the weight was adding up. Decided to move the carbon car Xlx2 into this car,
Moved my open wheel limitless Xlx2 into the carbon car.
My open wheel limitless will get a new esc maybe when towerhobbies does one of the 180$ Xlx2 sales.

All ready to rock for tomorrow’s runs

I bought two when they had the sale last time.
It was a one day sale before winter. I made the joke that they were old ones that they needed to clear out and would probably fail but they have been fine.

Castle must make them cheap cause they have 100$ core charge on xlx2s.i got 4 an after they burn send them back an get new one for 152$$

Instead of me spending 1000$ destroying 4 last year.ill spend 600$ destroying 4 this year

Instead of me spending 1000$ destroying 4 last year.ill spend 600$ destroying 4 this year

I need to do this non warranty claim stuff. I have two that are burned up and trashed I would be happy to get one in return

Going to remount my esc a little different so I can potentially stack two 6s batteries. One of my two 5000mah 6s batteries is on its way out that I’ve been using with this car but I have a 4000, and a 3000 which may help voltage sag.

Plan to rebuild rear diff with a lighter diff fluid to hopefully keep me from backflipping if I hit the throttle two hard.

Steering issues:
Still had issues keeping the car straight and not tracking all over the place under 80mph
Things I’ve tried:
Hot racing servo saver
Another spare servo (32kg omg servo)
Servo saver delete

But still had same issues,
I did pickup the hot racing steering linkage but I don’t think that will help my issue,
I may order an
AGFrc 55kg servo to see if that makes any positive effects to hold the car straight.

Next few weeks or so will be focused on the steering so that after that I can make better passes.

Replaced one axle. Car ready to rock again

I recalibrated recently but that was more my finger control. I don't think I hit full throttle because I was getting too far down the road.
I will calibrate next time out tho.

New foam set cut. One more to finish up so that both cars are ready again.
Out of both vendettas I should be able to use 4 of the 8 tires on them as a set so I’ll have a cut set of spares.
Rain all weekend and next week so I’m not sure when I’ll run again

Updated the mounting position of the xlx2 and it helps the bullets hold pressure going into the esc from the motor.
Forgot to update as well, even tho I know the 4050cm 3200kv motor is capable of 150 I had previously ordered a 4060cm 3100kv so I installed that.
Same gearing as the other motor.
It will require more battery so I wasn’t expecting any kind of huge output difference, but it’ll run a little less hot.
The 4050cm will be going into the mini typhon I’m working on

@RamJamRacing supplied me with a beautiful front splitter to replace my busted one that wasn’t really doing anything at this point.
Also added some 3d printed canards and we will see how they hold up at 150+

I originally made a carbon fiber belly pan.
The front has been destroyed from wrecks.
The new piece is from ram jam

Great day with the stock body vendetta, ran today on 7s and it took me from 150mph up to 161mph new pb.
Both vendettas cracked into the 160’s
