Ended up selling the third Fusion. This is how it looked when I sold it

The Tuned pipe that’s on it looked like this when I got it. Thing must’ve been at the bottom of the Mariana Trench!

I ended up regretting selling this car. It was meant for a good cause, but sadly it didn’t work out to be what I was hoping for… don’t really wanna go into detail

I regret it every time after I sell 1 off. I've finally realized just not to do it. We put too much time and effort into these older things..

Anyway I just wanted to say that you've got some absolutely beautiful builds here! I sold my Evo 3 last year and everything I see nice rs4's i regret selling mine all over again. Lol.

Wow I haven’t updated this thread in so long! Here’s what the RS4-2 build has turned into. I painted the Celica body, chromed it out, dropped a ported 12CV into it, custom made an exhaust, and put tons of aftermarket parts. Only thing left to do is an exhaust tip

The Super Nitro is also almost done, it has a ton of new and custom parts on it. The engine is a OS CZ with M-Speed head and MIP boost chamber kit. I made a diffuser mount and bolted on a MST diffuser to turn it into the Batmobile. Lines up perfect with the Corvette body rear bumper too

The RS4-3 got cleaned up, tucked a lot of wiring and ditched the tacky parts so it’s much more of a mature build now. Also fixed the linkages so this car is 100% ready to rip.

And picked up a free nitro mini along the way :)

Cleaned it up a bit, it’s super minty

With the stage D I did the same as the Rs4-3, meaning it’s a simpler build now. I ditched the body posts because it’ll never have a body due to how wide the track width is.

Then I built a “RTR” Nitro drift with a very rare upper deck and overdose tuned pipe. It has a OS 21 big block in it. This car isn’t done and will be going thru a whole rebuild but it’s still worthy of sharing

Also picked up a SAB Goblin 500 because Helis rule, and don’t need no explanation 😂

Great thread! Brings me back ti my Super RS4 days and Nitro TC3 days.

I have a brand new Factory Team Nitro TC3 (NTC3) that I’ve been putting off for years. I had a custom Fast and Furious Supra done. She sits in a box now. I’ll have to get to it real soon. I miss nitro.

The TC3 is sweet I’ve had a couple of those in the past. Building a nitro car is a lot of fun so that’s gonna be a great project 😎 👍

When you start your build shoot me a message I’ll send you some titanium hinge pins.

I’m starting up a collection of nitro cars again, starting out with my old friend the Schumacher Fusion

For those who don’t know what this car is, it’s a British-made 1/10 nitro on-road touring car with a belt driven AWD system and a 3 speed transmission. These were known for being overpowered because they came with a .21 Thunder Tiger engine and later were offered with a .28 Picco P3 monster called the X28 Turbo. These were the fastest 1/10 nitro on-roads at the time with a top speed of 80mph.

Mine is actually brand new, the engine hasn’t even been broken in yet. These have long been discontinued so finding a new example was super lucky. Mine has the .21 however I will be converting this to the .28 Picco using original parts which are incredibly hard to find but I’ve done it. It’s tough having to order everything overseas, I guess these weren’t as popular in the states.

All I’ve done so far is polish up the tuned pipe a bit as it had a good amount of surface corrosion forming

I’m also a big HPI fan so I had to buy the new WR8 before it was discontinued. Looks good next to the Schumacher

Speaking of HPI I have a Nitro RS4 3 Evo in storage that needs to be rebuilt. It’s definitely a project and I’ll be posting it in here and showing off the rare parts I find for it.

I’m also building a Savage XL K5.9 project but that one needs a ton of work so it’ll be on the back burner for now

My list of nitro cars to collect in the future:

Associated TC3

Yokomo GT4

Kyosho FW06

Kyosho mad crusher

Kyosho USA-1

BMT 891 or 931

Tamiya TGR

Tamiya TG10r

Hpi rs4 drift
