I bought a voltage Granite for my 9-yo to run when i do my thing. I find the battery solutions both awesome and infuriating.

I like the Li-ion batteries that come with it, expressly because the kids can charge them without me being there. I figured I would let them do the two batteries and when we go out i would put a 2s in there. I bought a 2S hardcase for it which i regret because there is literally no space for the able to bend over with majorly stressing it. The Li-ion large battery tray is 40 bones plus the cost of four more batteries.

1. Has anyone found better options for charging Li-Ion batteries? I have a venom power pro duo. I find the 2 battery charger very slow to cycle 6 batteries through.

2. Anyone have a better 2s battery to go inside the battery tray, or methods of packing a 2s and not using the battery tray?

Thanks.

SMC use a hard case size which is perfect for the Voltage tray. Not only the case is a perfect fit, but also the cables go out from the battery from the corner so they get right out and don’t need to flex.

Either the 5400mAh:

or the 7400mAh:

will fit perfectly. They use the same case.

They even have a 4500mAh 3s battery that is the same size, but it’s not relevant for your current ESC. But maybe in the future? (https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/fazon-brushless-build.8211/)
