Ok I'm trying to be different and building a 2wd offroad corse Vorteks. Upgrading to 2s Brushless system and want to see if anyone has done this before or have a recommendation for what gearing to run.

Race this truck at Indy RC world in Texas if that provides that helps. Clay surface and indoor. Looking for lowed power to drive out of turns and midrange for straights. 2s system with 400kv motor.

I run my Vorteks 2wd on 2s with 20T pinion and stock spur gear. 3150KV motor and 120A ESC. Everything stays cool with a motor fan, but the top speed isn't quite what I want for bashing. Acceleration and top speed seem to be good for a dirt track.

Keep in mind, you will need the easy mesh system spacers or whatever it is that Arrma calls them. Part number ARA1760 if I recall correctly.

Also, I would expect you to end up somewhere in the 13-16T pinion range with a 4000kv motor. 4000kv with a 20T is gonna be smoking hot.
