Ok so here they are guys , I was going to wait to run it until I upgraded parts that I've ordered for it , but me and my daughter took it out for a bash .
Got to say I'm impressed it handled lovely .... Well apart for the first run up the road and I realised my daughter had swapped the transmitter direction back to front and we picked up the shells first wound lol when it went flying towards a parked car lol .
No harm done though it's going to happen .

So on a 2s lipo brushed 12 turn we got a solid 25mins of run time , it really is planted .

I had this 35 kg servo so I've already upgraded it to a new one .

Hopefully tomorrow the brushless motor a 3650 3930kv and 80amp ESC combo . Then I'll also change the pinion to a 20 tooth or 18 as well .

But overall I'm very impressed with it .
Cracking platform for the money .

Side note I have noticed that it does not have adjustable turnbuckles, so I'm going to change that along with some rpm typhoon Arms for the front and standard typoon arms for the rear .

Then just waiting on the boost upgrade to make it 4x4 , having said that though it's a whole load of sideways fun in 2 wheel drive .

We had a day out today with it then home to check all the hex screws were all ok and played around with the shock pre load clips as I noticed the front end soft compared with the rear and digs in on de acceleration.
And as this is a 2wd and not 4wd swapped the tyres around for even wear pattern on the Katar tyres , quite impressed with them also they are grippy for standard tyres.

Also my ESC and motor combo has turned up from Surpass, can't install yet as receiver has turned up yet due to the passing of the queen and royal mail strikes .
Really enjoying this car as it's my first Arrma and I'm already hooked .
They do take some stick to be fair as I jumped mine today off a raised platform that was about 5ft tall and full speed and the car laughed and took it in its stride.

Ok so just been out with a little few changes and definitely improvement,
So anyone getting it would recommend changing out the 14 tooth pinion to a 18 tooth and use the 0.8 pre tensioner for the front shocks the car doest seem to dip half as bad on de acceleration.
The 18 tooth pinion has woken it up a fair amount on the top end . So verdict is I'll be using that ok the brushless system also as it will have more lower end punch anyways moving from a brushed to a brushless .

All fitted and ready to go can't wait till tomorrow to give it a blast , going to order some 3s cells now and then hopefully the boost pack will be available to turn it in to 4x4 .

Might change the spur to metal also .

Cool car and sweet build! I plan to order mine to have it as a second unit for my kids to play while I'm behind the Vorteks 4wd steering wheel or just as a backup for when the big downtime.

Thanks buddy , yeah really enjoying getting to learn the car bit by bit , it's really fun to drive to be fair , today starting to notice that I definitely need the 4wd boost pack for it .
Got to ask I think it's possible that the motor KV is quite high for it , what size motor you using in the 4wd blx bud . Might keep this motor for my daughter when she gets hers Christmas .
I've not run it yet on 3s but even on 2s it goes great .

Like you said I’ probably go metal spur. Apart from that I think I you got yourself everything you‘d want.
Maybe one more thing though. Not sure how much amp that esc is, but the one in the link has 120A so if you really want to go fast on 3s this is wort h considering (some headroom on an esc is always good to have, runs cooler). I have no experience with it, but gets very good reviews and pretty cheap.
